Magtorx DPS devices are supported with unique programming features that can be used for a specific need. The programming possibility opens doors for many applications.  The DPS has very powerful programming capabilities, yet is very simple in operation.

The method of programming using Hyper Terminal as described in the examples is the most basic way of programming Magtorx Programmable DPS.  The other, more preferable method would be using a development program such as LabView®, Quick Basic®, Visual C++®, or MatLab®.  For example, using LabView you can develop a user interface program that will allow you to enter the command in a more friendly fashion where the user can create unit conversion VI’s or the specific command sub VI’s such as “Control Signal” in place of the cryptogram “LXXXX[CR]”.  Magtorx is working on developing an interface program, which will even more simplify programming the DPS.
